This month in the “Cintri | Client Campaign,” newsletter, we are featuring our recent collaboration with Specialized and highlighting the unique approaches our team took to make the campaign come alive.
 

 

The project was filmed in the Sierra Mountains highlighting the iconic Mammoth Lakes, California landscape over a three day period. View the commercial on Specialized’s YouTube channel.

"Perennial for me stems from a childhood of riding bikes everyday. It’s about expressing freedom on two wheels. When we were brainstorming concepts for Perennial, I wanted to tell a story of using two wheels as your open road to freedom to exploring your own path. Producing the film was a bit rugged, since we were dealing with the state of emergency wildfires in the Sierras. Every morning during the shoot, we picked a sunrise and sunset spot to play with light using obstacles and locations."

"When approached with the idea of creating a film with Specialized I was beyond excited. We immediately went to the drawing board on how to bring a natural feeling to the piece. Because the production was over the course of three days in various locations, we had to build the edit around time of day and location, creating dynamic range in the riding and landscapes. We scored Perennial to emulate the ups and downs Spencer experienced while riding through the peaks and valleys of the Sierras."
